SEIDCON, Inc. is a rare breed of small business – that is, an American Indian/Woman-owned, 8(a) firm with well over 20 years of successful government contract performance in IT support.  Established in 1983, SEIDCON offers a strong base in Research and Development, Systems Security Engineering, Information Assurance, vulnerability assessments, IT systems and network design and analysis, Army Enterprise transformation support, IT services support, technology analysis and development, and systems engineering/integration.  Our engineers and scientists have provided R&D and advanced systems development support in Artificial Intelligence, Genetic Algorithm Applications, and Data Warehousing for the Air Mobility Command as well as IT services and Security Engineering to numerous clients within the United States and overseas.  Other Government customers include the NASA, DOE, NSA, various US Army agencies, DISA, DFAS, DHS, USDA, VA, DOI, USAF and USN.

Our award winning – {SEIDCON is the US Department of Agriculture’s Woman-Owned Business, Contractor of the Year (received in June 2005) and in April 2005 we received a Department of Homeland Security Small Business Achievement Award for  both FY’s 2003 and 2004} -  team of employees is technically strong, performance driven, and highly committed to serving our customers. Ninety five percent of our employees hold bachelor’s degrees and 45% hold higher degrees (Master’s and PhD’s) in such disciplines as engineering, physics, mathematics and computer science.  We have offices in San Marcos, California and Bethesda, Maryland as well as staff located with customers around the world.

As an example of our work overseas, for U.S. Army Europe, SEIDCON provides information systems security engineering, planning and implementation; Active Directory migration support; network engineering, data scans, and architecture development; short notice surge staffing; business process re-engineering; and COOP and disaster recovery planning and implementation in supporting USAREUR’s efforts to transform the way IT services are provided and to implement AKM Goal 3.  For USDA, DHS, the Veteran’s Administration, and US Army RDECOM we provide systems test and evaluation, vulnerability and risk assessments, recommended countermeasures, certification and accreditation as well as security policy development.  For NASA, we provide part of the research staff for NASA Ames Laboratory in California.
