In order for your website to be viewed on the internet, it must be hosted by an Internet Service Provider (ISP). 

Dakota 2000 offers the following basic options and will customize to meet your needs.  All hosting packages start at 50MB storage and up to 5,000 hits per day. 

Hosting is simply loading your web site on a server in our office that is connected to the Internet backbone through a large communications provider so the rest of the world can see it.  In our case we use Qwest for our Internet backbone connection. It is important to have an Internet provider with a large network so your site can be accessed more quickly.   For instance, if someone in New York City is trying to access your web site, you want that viewer to get to it as fast as possible. On a large network, such as Dakota 2000's, the person in NY will need to make fewer stops on the Internet to find your web site.
